Assisting Users

Transport networks' complexity, and particularly that of road networks, increasingly calls for their service to society to include the provision of safety .

An infrastructure's safety level is largely determined by its "self-explanatory nature." It must be strictly designed along those lines and backed up by a signage system which guides the user without ambiguity. This signage, which is often static, is accompanied by a dynamic signalling system which relays user information to the ground to warn users of unusual situations and incidents.

This attention to user safety and guidance is an integral part of all studies conducted by Egis Mobilité.
